About Me

I have been teaching high school for 15 years now, including courses in English, sports literature, drama, and video production. I am constantly looking for ways to challenge myself and my students, and as I searched the web for inspiration, I realized my students do amazing work and I thought it was time to give them a place to showcase their learning. So I created this blog; my video production students have their own blog, Rambler Productions.

I am also an aspiring writer and filmmaker. I have co-written two one-act plays and am currently co-writing a full length screenplay as well as working on a novel. I had the opportunity last summer to work on an independent film as the set dresser and producer of a behind the scenes documentary.
